LoRaWAN Unit Development Support
Infrastructure Safety Provider
We prototyped a LoRaWAN sensor device for a safety equipment company. It features temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors, with transmission intervals set by DIP switches. Button operations allow power control and manual data send. Using The Things Network, we provided comprehensive support including gateway setup, connection testing (OTAA/ABP), and data verification.

Wi-Fi Relay in Polar
We developed a compact Wi-Fi relay device that enables sensor data to be collected without USB connections, addressing the logistical challenges of research in polar environments. Built with the M5AtomS3, the device allows data to be wirelessly transmitted from loggers, making it easier to gather and analyze information in remote and harsh conditions where conventional setups are impractical.

Customization of Seeed reServer
For use in a healthcare AI evaluation environment, we customized the Seeed reServer to meet specific requirements. In addition to adding LTE connectivity, we sourced a compatible AC adapter despite slight plug size mismatches, expanded the SSD, and preinstalled the designated operating system. Our support covered the entire process—from coordinating with Seeed to secure components, to pre-shipment testing, and post-delivery kernel updates.

GNSS + LTE Board Prototype

We supported development of a compact GNSS-RTK positioning and LTE communication board powered by a lithium-ion battery. The design fits into a cigarette-pack-sized case, with optimized circuit and component layout. Firmware was also developed to send location data via LTE in a specified format. We handled MCU selection, board design, firmware implementation, and testing.

Monitoring Camera System Development Support
Happy Design Co., Ltd.
We supported the development of a monitoring camera system designed to enhance safety and oversight in elderly care environments. The system integrates with various built-in and external sensors. Switch Science handled the initial hearing, requirements definition, and hardware design and development of the camera device—including the enclosure, circuit board, and firmware. Mass production, as well as development of the monitoring web application and backend system, were carried out in collaboration with partner companies. The system runs on a Linux-based platform and supports PoE power supply. In response to on-site needs such as nighttime monitoring and wide-angle coverage, it was equipped with night mode functionality and a custom fisheye lens.
